Design drawing titled "White Marble Chimeny Piece in Mr. W. Brown's Studio [Formerly the Earl of MacClesfield's House] 34 Gerrard Street Soho" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Top and side details of the cornice and frieze are also provided. The drawing depicts a Classical Revival-style mantel which has a frieze with carved Neoclassical ornamentation including fluting, round pattera, and a central kylix. The mantel sides are stylized fluted Ionic columns which have capitals with volutes. Title, dimensions and design notes are handwritten in pencil. Title refers to an address in London, England.
