"Toilet Glass"

Description

Design drawing titled "Toilet Glass" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown; plan of top is also provided. Dressing or toilet glass has short rectangular case with bowed front, four drawers with molded edges, rosette pulls, and turned ovoid feet; two stiles with vasiform, cylinder and ring turnings and ball finials attached to top of case; adjustable rectangular mirror attached to stiles at middle of sides; and carved rosettes at corners of mirror frames. Title and scale are handwritten on drawing. Embossed in lower left corner is: "Return to / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
