Description

Design drawing titled "Cabinet of Dark Oak in Main Hall" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Renaissance Revival cabinet on stand has rectangular upper case. Case has overhanging top with molded edge; carved ornaments on the frieze; two columns on either side of a central panel. Center panel has a carved oval cartouche in the middle surrounded by scrolling strapwork and is inscribed: "Anno Domini 1904[6]." Upper case sits on a stand with a carved frieze; two columns on each side in the front and two rectangular back legs; bottom shelf; and scrolled feet. Title, design notes and "Geo. Eastman" are handwritten on drawing.
