Division of the land of John Leverett's Estate in 1725. Leverett was the president of Harvard from 1708-1724, and the grandson of John Leverett, Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony. The properties are on Leverett Street. They were transferred to his daughters S. (Sarah) Leverett and Mary (Leverett) Dennison and his nephew Knight Leverett. The plot plan shows their names only once and then denotes them as S.L., M.D. and K.L. The properties border "The River," possibly the Charles?
