Financial records, 1919-1939 (#3.30-3.33) contains four items related to Roger Grenway Pierce's War Risk Insurance policy and an application to the Veterans Administration for adjusted compensation. The group of insurance documents include a letter received from William F. Shanahan, Examiner in Charge, War Risk Office at Boston, Treasury Dept., about the conversion of Pierce's War Risk Term Insurance to regular life insurance, along with a carbon copy of Pierce's letter to the Bureau for War Risk Insurance, a premium due notice, and Pierce's application for conversion of the insurance policy. In the policy application, Roger Grenway Pierce's wife, Marjorie (Curtis) Pierce (1895-1941), is named as beneficiary.
