GUSN-190008
The trade card advertises a hair tonic designed to "restore gray hair to its natural vitality and color." Depicted on the card is a shipwreck from which a group of five mermaids have rescued boxes of Ayer's Hair Vigor. The mermaids sit on a tropical shore brushing their hair with the tonic. The wrecked ship displays the American flag upsidedown as a sign of distress. On the verso is a description of the benefits of Ayer's.
