Description

Design drawing titled "Sofa" rendered in pencil and watercolor on trace and mounted on cardboard. Sofa has high back with two tiers of five upholstered panels with fringe trim; upholstered seat with fringe trim; four round stiles and legs terminating in bun feet; and box stretcher. Sofa sides are equal in heigtht to the back and have attached pillows. Sides are hinged to drop down and serve as arm rests with pillows on top.Title and dimensions are handwritten in pencil. Also handwritten in pencil is: "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / 601 5th Ave. N. Y. C.."
