Design drawing with two views titled "Settee in Satinwood with Painted Decoration." Front view is rendered in pencil and watercolor; side view is in pencil only. Neonclassical-style Fancy settee has three-part back; crest rail with three rectangular tablets; back with three square center panels and three lower rectangular panels held by spindles; straight skirt; curved arms with slender vasiform turned supports; four raked rear legs; and four slender vasiform turned front legs. Loose seat cushion. Back panels and skirt have painted decorative motifs including foliage, musicians in classical attire and painted imitation stringing. Title is handprinted in pencil. Blind stamped at lower left corner: "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
