Cheval Glass

Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Cheval glass has two round columnar stiles with turned ovoid finials, turned vasiform upper section, carved foliate ornament, and reeded lower section; trestle-style base; low reverse curved legs with scrolled toes; and casters. Moveable full-length oval mirror has high double-arched crest and inlay stringing around perimeter.
