Design drawing titled "Satinwood Piano Bench" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Empire-style rectangular low bench has bowed ends; upholstered cushion with single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; straight apron with carved corner blocks and fluting; four tapered round reeded legs with carved foliage at top; and turned ovoid feet. Title, design notes, "For W. C. Whitney" and "11593" are handwritten on drawing.
