Arm chair has tall fully upholstered rectangular back with metal tacks outlining side edges; shaped arms with upholstered pads and scrolled handholds; curved arm supports; fully upholstered seat with two rows of metal tacks outlining seat rails; raked tapered square rear legs with casters; and tapered square front legs with brass caps and casters. Handwritten on drawing are "667" and the foloowing note: "This recommended by / Mr. Coolidge & ordered at / factory by F. H. B. / [?] Public Library." F. H. B. refers to Francis Henry Bacon, designer at A. H. Davenport Co.
