William and Mary-style arm chair has carved crest rail with scroll and owl's-eye motifs; stiles with block and cylinder turnings and ovoid finials; rectangular caned back; lower seat rail with curved lower edge; shaped arms with rounded ends; turned arm supports; rush seat; tapered rectangular rear legs; front legs with ovoid, ring, vasiform and block turnings; bun feet; turned H-stretcher and additional side stretchers; and side front stretcher with carved volutes and curved edges. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
