Neoclassical-style side chair has molded shield-shaped back with serpentine crest rail; splat with carved kylix in an oval cartouche at top with foliate swags, five pierced ribs, and a bottom lunette; molded stiles; seat with serpentine front, over-the-rail upholstery, and a single row of metal tacks along lower edge; raked rectangular rear legs; and tapered square front legs. "No. 2" and "576" are handwritten on drawing.
