What does your room say about you? Learn about special spaces at Historic New England houses, view a scrapbook house owned by a nineteenth-century girl, and design your own room using collage materials.

Program Details

Available weekdays, year-round, for ages 7 – 14.
Length: 60 minutes. Maximum 25 students per program.

Please note we have had to increase our prices, effective July 2022. This is our first increase for these programs since 2005.

This image comes from a scrapbook house that Carrie Ayers received from her mother in 1879. It contained fourteen rooms, including the “George and Martha Room” pictured here. The scrapbook is preserved in Historic New England’s Library and Archives.
