Pollard-Marshall House was recently put on the market in Harvard, Massachusetts. This four-bedroom Georgian home was built in 1782 by Captain Thaddeus Pollard, a patriot in the Continental Army. It offers the opportunity to live in and enjoy a significant piece of New England’s rural history.

The house is well preserved and retains many significant architectural features, including its entry, central staircase, door and window hardware, plaster, and woodwork. It is situated on 16.41 acres, and features a c. 1830 barn, a pond, and an American Sycamore tree believed to be 400 years old.

The house is part of Historic New England’s Preservation Easement Program, a national model for saving privately owned historic homes.
