Historic New England hosts benefit dinner in honor of Ron Bourgeault

Dec 20, 2019

Historic New England is hosting My Favorite Things on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.

The event honors Ron Bourgeault for his lifetime of contributions to Historic New England and the world of American decorative arts. Ron’s passion for antiques started at an early age. For the more than thirty years he operated Northeast Auctions, he brought together collectors and the objects they treasure. A frequent guest on Antiques Roadshow, Bourgeault is a renowned national expert on American furniture and folk art. His connection to Historic New England began in the 1970s when he helped establish the Batchelder Conservation Fund. Through the years he continued working and consulting with staff, and serving on committees and as an advocate for the organization.
