Design drawing titled "Ceiling of Drawing Room for Mr. Charles Remsen" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Front elevations of two ceiling sections are shown. The largest section depicts a Neoclassical-style square ceiling which has a protruding bay with canted sides on one wall; stepped crown molding; wide perimeter border with carved or applied corner anthemions and scrolling garland with palmettes along sides; and central octagonal medallion. Medallion has fluted border; interior circular medallion with egg-and-dart molding and rosettes surrounding a smaller circular medallion; and eight spokes with carved scrolls extending from each corner of the octagon. The smaller section depicts a rectangular ceiling with one indented side; stepped crown molding; rectangular fluted border; and a line of nine circular motifs surrounding rosettes. Title and scale are handwritten at bottom. Embossed on lower left corner is: "Return to A. H. Davenport Co. 150 Madison Ave. New York." Ceiling design is very similar to one depcted in C011.001.001.001.0012.010.
