Purple and white striped cotton; Jacket (A) - shawl collar with wide pointed lapels; decorative "waistcoat" of white ribbed cotton, inset at center front; 3 pairs of large decorative shell buttons with cream braid frogs; 3/4 length sleeves; scalloped hem with extended points at sides; button closure center fronts; Skirt (B) - matching skirt; slightly gathered at front, more fullness gathered at back; hook and eye closure.
