Description

Thirty pieces of ½ and ½ blonde and dark turned pieces in traditional chess vocabulary. Horse heads carved. Rectangular pine box has sliding lid with chamfered edges and cut out “H” (also in pencil “Chess H. Bowen”) Child's water color rendering of a pink house with a black door and white stairs flanked by two windows and gambrel roof; tree to house left and brown colored road that forks at house right.
