Description

Gothic Revival style with point arch crest with tracery design of modified rosette with tripartite globular points flanked by abstract foliate trefoil surmounted by point arch and double acanthus blossom. Rectangular stiles with flattened acanthus capitals terminate in stacked pointed finials with secondary acanthus buds. Upholstered back and lower rail recessed lozenge and quatrefoil block design. Upholstered arms terminate in carved foliate hand rest. Carved arm support continues foliate design to chain side. Recessed carved lozenge and quatrefoil blocks on seat rail echoes lower rain. Columnar front feet with reeded decoration end in casters as do flared rear legs.\n
