Description

Tall case clock. Mahogany with light and darkwood inlay; cherry and white pine seconday wood. Tin, enamel, oil paint glazing. Arched hood with fretwork and gallery and three brass finials above hood. Hood is flanked by fluted plinths with brass caps, base, and reeds. Waist has waist molding and four light and darkwood inlaid has string inlay and quarter fans. Cyma-curved skirt. Rests on ogee bracket feet. Works are signed "Osborne's Manufactory/Birmingham."
