Spherical bulbous body, slightly tapered with 12 facets around top half of body, terminating in a partially rope-turned neck ring with short cylindrical neck above; three-tiered stepped base with checkered surface decoration; applied C-scroll handle; circular hinged lid with finial handle in form of sphinx with lion's body and head of bearded man with crown.
