Full-length portrait of a four year old boy holding a whip and a watch (?), with his hat at his feet and his puppy gambolling behind him. A domed building sits on a river or bay in the background. Boats are grounded ashore in the near background behind the boy. Son of Lydia Haskell Mitchell (1948.116).
