Description

Butler's secretary; two fontal backet feet with stringing enclosing a straight molded apron; case fitted with three graduated beaded veneered drawers with string inlay surmounted by a conforming fall-front with inlaid patera opening to reveal a writing surface, cubby holes and drawers with stringing; the recessed inset top section fitted with two veneered inlaid friezes surmounted by an arched pediment centering an inlaid patera; original oval brasses.
