A green and white satin-stitched border surrounds the scene and inscriptions, with a larger, second border surrounding that, also on three sides, of dainty white and blue flowers ona meandering vine. At the top of the outer border is a large vase filled with flowers and flanked by flying birds. The stitches used include: cross stitch, Satin stitch, eyelet, daisy stitch, whip stitch, Gobelin; framed in gilt wooden frame.
