Description

"Faux-tapestry" depicting 18th century frolickers in a wooded setting. A boy and girl dance around a May pole; a seond girl plays a penny whistle; a third girl reclines with a basket of flowers. Tapestry effect created by weaving wefts in various shades of pink, brown, and beige. Stretched in an oak frame that was once painted gold (much paint now lost).
