Description

Needlework picture on silk ground; worked in a round format in green, gold, blue, and brown threads in variety of needlework stitches and knots; depicts shepardess feeding two sheep under a tree with hills, pond, and trees beyond; painted features and figure, sky, and background; enclosed with a reverse painted glass matt (black with gilt star-like devices) and square, molded and beaded giltwood frame.
