A gold embossed medal commemorating World War I with the saying, "Do right and fear no man", all around a shield with an image of an eagle. The shield is divided in two parts by a sword. A sheep, rooster, and cross on the left hand side; a bear, a heraldic lion and a sun on the right hand side. The medal is enclosed a small white box with blue paper.
"DO RIGHT AND FEAR NO MAN" in capital letters all around the medal. "A.D. 1916 in the upper corners of the shield. "Copyright Spinger Simson" on the eagle's wings. (Stamped)
