Blue/black changeable taffeta with tapestry inserts; Bodice (A): basque style; tapestry collar with tapestry panel, 18 tapestry buttons at center front; decorative tapestry band at cuffs; pleats at left and right front extend from shoulder to hem with smocking at waist; long sleeves with pleated cuffs and self bows at wrists; small patch pocket (with tapestry piping) at lower left; back extends to a pouf, with a self-bow and ribbons with passementerie tassel at end of each ribbon; boned and lined with tan cotton damask with motif; padded; woven silk waistband with hook and eye closure; Skirt B: - Bustle skirt has matching tapestry panel inserted center front; blue/black changeable taffeta from sides to back - tapestry and taffeta are gathered along side seam, and taffeta has ruffled edge; skirt is poufed and draped at back with elastic bands to gather fabric; 3 pleated ruffles around hem; tasseled fringe at hem of tapestry panel and side panels of taffeta; blue glazed cotton twill panel at waist front; hem bound with green wool tape and lined with dark wool band; Skirt lined with brown cambric with cambric and buckram bustle attached at train and center back. Hook and eye closure at waist.
