a) Bodice-- Brown iridescent wool and silk blend; high neckline; long sleeves with ruching down center sleeves from shoulder and around cuff; pleated cuff with lace edging; bodice lined with tan cotton twill; sleeves lined with glazed tan cotton twill; boned; princess seams at back; two small outer pockets on back with silk covered buttons; center pointed back peplum; piping at armseye and neckline; outer turned up hem with double edge; front button and button hole closure from neck to hem; 13 silk covered buttons; hook and eye closure at waist. b) Skirt-- Glazed tan cotton waistband; pleats at waist sides; cartridge pleats at back waist; glazed tan cotton inside pocket at right hip; two flounces with ruching all around; tan glazed cotton lining at skirt bottom; wool tape hem; back hook and eye closure. c) Overskirt-- Tan glazed cotton waistband; cartridge pleats at back; two applied bands forming a chevron at center front; front panel gathered at side seams with ruching; back bustle held in place by 3 cotton twill tape; ruffle hem. d) Detatchable collar-- box pleated with ruching; lined with glazed cotton.
