Probably work table; four square tapered legs chamfered on all edges to 3/4 height of leg; apron on ends of table set unusually far back on legs; "apron" on sides is nailed to the outside of the legs and has rounded corners as does rectangular top consisting of three boards nailed to base; though no drawers are in table, there is a board 5 1/2" under top completely enclosing the underside of the table; traces of old wash red base most recently painted brown; top unpainted.
