Description

Rectangular wooden carcass with flat hinged lid; covered with heavy black leather fastened with elaborately patterned brass tacks and reinforced at all corners with black painted iron bands; leather strap handles at both ends; two long straps come over lid and buckle on front; leather flap with embossed brass medallion is suspended from center lid force and covers lock; interior lined with flazed cotton in blue and white pattern of elaborately dressed window with its surrounding interior and exterior views.
