Description

Large earthenware mug. Red transfer printed scene with two men standing atop a representative map of Europe. The man at left, "The Governor of Europe," wears a bicorne hat and has a sword at his side, "dancing" on the mainland section of Europe. The man at right is half his size but also has a sword, standing atop Great Britain and pointing downward at it. With lengthy inscriptions (dialogue between the two men).
