Description

Earthenware children's mug. Cylindrical with loop handle and leaf terminals. Brown transfer print with "Dr. Franklin's Maxims" inscription and two scenes. On one side, a boy rows a boat while a man reclines on the shore, with an arched stone bridge in the background. On the other side, one boy stands in front of a doorway in the foreground while a second boy appears to be in the water in the background. Over painted with green and brown.
