Tan straw; scalloped/rough braided bands; ends of brim extend to round tips, and curves upward around neck; trimmed on outside with white silk ribbon, twisted to form three bands (like piping) at top, with a rosette at left side and streamer at right; ivory satin neck ruffle formed by stitched pieces of above ribbon together; inside of brim trimmed with yellow satin ruching with one wire band (covered with cream silk) around brim and neck; matching yellow ribbon ties are looped and have hook and eye closure; the rest of bonnet is lined with cream gauze, with pieces of plastic(?) or cellulose(?) attached.
