Description

A. is a base of squared shallow form with molded handles extending from a slightly upturned dished rim. There are tapered curved sides, and a round cornered square foot ring. It is printed in blue with a willow pattern: the face has a traditional view, with scale, trellis and medallian border at the rim or sides. B.& C. are liners of square form with rounded corners, pierced with a hole at the center, each printed with a willow view. D. the cover is of a square, domed formwith undulating sides and round corners with foliate scroll knop. It is printed in willow scenes with a traditional border. The knop is painted in a diaper dot pattern.

Inscription

Printed on the bottom in blue is a double diamond (one inside the other) with the center reading: SEMI/CHINA. Below the diamond reads: ENGLAND. Also on B & D the number ""14"" is handwritten on the underside.
