This loosely woven textile fragment is printed with a vignette of a male lion attacking a zebra surrounded by flowering foliage in pink, green, purple and blue. A loose paper tag was inscribed by the donor [see Inscriptions and Media]. The stippled ground and outlines were cylinder printed, with color added by block printing and pencilling.
