Description

Small, square serving dish (b) on feet, lid (c) and interior strainer (a). Part of a "Hampden" pattern dinner service for twelve. Designed by Christopher Dresser and produced by the Old Hall Earthenware Company, England. All pieces have a light cream-colored bodies with aqua trim, decorated with a transfer-printed and overpainted pattern of flowers and geometric designs in aqua, blues, yellow, brown and black. Molded, geometric lid knop with metallic gold accents.
