Neoclassical-style arm chair has elliptical crest rail with rounded ears; shaped stiles; solid flared splat with inlaid or painted bellflower swags at top and trefoil at base; shaped arms with continuous curved arm supports; trapezoidal upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along lower edge; narrow straight seat rails; and tapered square legs, raked in rear. "1401" is handwritten on drawing.
