Side chair has crest rail with center rectangular plaque with painted or inlaid decoration; molded straight lower rail; pierced splat composed of interlacing ribs forming elongated ovals and diamonds; molded stiles; caned seat; molded front and plain side seat rails; raked rear legs; and molded tapered square front legs with cuffed feet. "1225" and "Bowdoin" are handwritten on drawing.
