Arm chair has crest rail composed of two turned rods with top of a large rectangular tablet in the middle; lower rail at bottom of rectangle composed of thin slats in a diamond lozenge pattern; square stiles which flare at top with carved rosettes on ends and extend down into raked rear legs; curved arms flowing from top of stile; turned arm supports; caned seat; narrow seat rails; and turned front legs. Title, design notes, "Brown Collection," "Mar. 22 - 1907 / J. B. W." and "11558" are handwritten on drawing.
