Description

Album of design drawings produced by A. H. Davenport Co. titled: "Bureaus. Chest of Drawers." The title is printed on the spine in gold on a red leather label. The company name is printed in black on the front cover; the volume number "12" is also printed in black on the spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 212 pages. There are 61 pages which have 212 design drawings on trace affixed with glue. The remaining 151 pages are blank. Drawings depict a variety of case furniture designed by the firm. Printed table of contents is pasted inside front cover and includes the following categories: French bureaus, colonial bureaus, miscellaneous bureaus, French chests of drawers, colonial chests of drawers, and miscellaneous chests of drawers.
