This series contains a variety of papers related to Nina Fletcher Little's work with Old Sturbridge Village living history museum in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Little served as a trustee beginning in 1955 and was a member of the institution's curatorial committee. General papers related to her work with the organization are found in loose chronological order, in keeping with their original arrangement. Topics in these papers include collections and curatorial issues; personnel issues; and the Stratton Tavern and John McClellan Law Office exhibition buildings. This series also contains files related to Nina Little's decoration and furnishing of the General Salem Town House and exhibitions that Nina F. Little worked on.
This series also contains the papers related to Old Sturbridge Village's publication of Little's booklet Floor Coverings in New England Before 1850. This booklet was published in 1967, with a second edition in 1972. Researchers interested in other publications by Nina Fletcher Little should consult the Nina Fletcher Little Publications record group, and those interested in Little's research files on floor coverings should consult the Floor Coverings series.
These papers were found in a single carton, in folders created by Selina Fletcher Little. The order of the folders and the papers within them has been preserved.
