Walk Right In 11/98-3/99 This pair of men's slippers is made entirely of recycled materials. The sock-like form is fashioned from a scrap of ingrain carpet, a popular and inexpensive floor covering. They are fastened with buttons from a Civil War uniform, perhaps worn by the owner, William D. Sewell of Bath, Maine.
