Description

Two unframed 'portraits' of bay horses with docked tails and roached manes, standing haltered and tied to a sky-blue and gray wall, standing on straw bedding; both are painted to face each other and to suggest contiguous space; the name of each horse ('Bobs' and 'Surprise') is inscribed on the respective painting.
