Description

Photo album titled: "Bedsteads 17A." Title is hand printed in black on front cover; title and volume number are hand printed in black on spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 140 dark gray pages, all of which are now loose. None of the pages are blank. Album contains 140 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of beds manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Also included are two photographs which are are beds manufactured by others. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers have also been provided in some cases. Customer names are handwritten on some album pages. Named customers are: Mrs. Winthrop Ames (North Easton, MA); Frank E. Anderson (Houston, TX); Mrs. Hugh Bancroft (Boston, MA): Elton G. Cushman (Taunton, MA); Ed K.
