"Bookcase of Mahogany"

Description

Design drawing with two views titled "Bookcase of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and top views are shown. Neoclassical-style bookcase has overhanging top with molded edge; frieze with carved or inlaid kylix; fluted pilasters; two doors with glass inserts and muntins forming lozenge shapes; keyhole escutcheon on right door; straight skirt; and four turned bulb feet with cuffs. Title and dimensions are handprinted in pencil. Also hand written are customer name "Miss Sarah S. Brayton" and "Det. May 18 - 1905 C.F.W."
