Photograph album. Album has brown textured cover; "Irving & Casson - A. H. Davenport Co." is stamped in gold on the front. Album contains 504 starch-coated linen pages and 252 mounted black-and-white photographs. The pages are now quite brittle. Photographs depict a wide variety of furniture forms manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co. prior to its 1913-1914 merger with Irving and Casson. All of the photographs are taken in the same setting, presumably around the time of the merger. Most pages have handwritten notations including the A. H. Davenport Co. model or detail number, wood used, and some dimensions. Occasionally the new Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport model number is noted as well. Over one hundred (106) of the photographs can be cross referenced to the related design drawings in CC010.001.001-17. The related drawings are noted on the Related Objects tab of each photograph's record. Two customer names are noted: R. B. Mellon and the White House (Washington, DC).
