Description

Rolled fragment of Nursery wallpaper frieze depicting scenes of two couples in pastoral setting. In the first scene, a shepardess with a sheep at her feet and a staff sits on a rock while a gentleman offers her flowers. In the second scene, a lady with a fan is offered flowers from a gentleman. Roller-printed in brown, red, pale pink, white, two blues, yellow, three greens, cream on gray ground. The pattern is overprinted with small white dots.
