Description

Two partial rolls of reproduction wallpaper in the "Augustine Heard" pattern designed by Binnie B. Wilson as part of the Waterhouse Collection manufactured by The Warner Company, Chicago. Wallpaper has a pattern of scrolling branches with roses, rosebuds and foliage. Hummingbirds and butterflies are interspersed among the branches. Pattern is based on a wallpaper found in the Augustine Heard House in Ipswich, MA. Roller-printed. Two colorways are present: 2001.281.843.1 -- Two greens, two blues, two browns, red, pink, yellow, and beige on a cream ground (#23131); and 2001.281.843.2 -- Two greens, two blues, two browns, two grays, pink, white, and yellow on a light green ground (#23136).
